We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our excellent range of partner schools across Stafford and Stone. Your duties as an Early Years Teaching Assistant involve working alongside the class teacher to help in delivering consistent and fulfilling support to each and every child. You may also be expected to support individual pupils including those with an EHCP. You will have the opportunity to build experience across a range of EYFS settings, supporting children at key stages of their early development. You will play a vital role in the classroom, helping to deliver engaging activities, supporting learning through play, and ensuring every child feels safe, included, and encouraged to reach their full potential. This role is ideal for someone adaptable, nurturing, and confident stepping into different school environments while maintaining a positive and professional approach.
The Role includes:
- Working alongside the Early Years Teacher to deliver stimulating and fulfilling lessons within the Early Years.
- Provide ongoing SEND support for individual pupils including those with an EHCP.
- You must be confident in supporting the class teacher to provide tailored care and support across the classroom.
- Working well alongside colleagues; with the ability to quickly create and maintain trusting, strong and professional relationships.
What we are looking for:
- An experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant who shares a passion and drive for supporting pupils within the younger years of the primary school setting.
- Holds NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants (or above).
- Have both high expectations of themselves and pupils; pushing the children to grow and flourish within the class.
- Have a genuine passion and interest in supporting the early stages of pupils' academic and personal development.
- Somebody who is able to adapt and jump into different school environments; creating strong, trusting relationships with staff.
You will be working on a temporary basis, supporting EYFS in a variety of our partner schools. We work with you providing work when suits around your lifestyle and commitments. Can commute to Stafford/Stone and surrounding areas.
Pay: 93 - 100 a day (dependent on experience) holiday pay is included in the day rate.
