We have an opportunity available for a full time Registered Manager to join the team at Cedar House based in Spalding, Lincolnshire, PE11 1QF. Cedar House provides respite care for people over 18 with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Salary: £44,054 per annum

Hours: 39 weekly

Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2027

Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to join our team. This role will play a crucial role in overseeing the service, ensuring compliance with regulations, delivering exceptional care to our service users, and be responsible for coming up with new and creative ideas to improve our service. We need someone with a compassionate nature, who is deeply committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others. You will need to have the ability to adapt your approach to each person we support, always ensuring they are well taken care of and dreaming big for their future. You will need to have the courage to take calculated risks and possess a continuous learning mind-set. In this role you will take charge of the day-to-day operations of the service, and in addition you will still be hands on providing compassionate and high-quality care to service users as well as managing and supervising staff members. Qualifications

Candidates must have a Level 5 Diploma in health & social care (or the willingness to work towards it in an agreed time-frame) and have previous experience of leading a team in a similar care setting. Whilst skills are important, our main priority for any new colleague is to find people who share similar values and attitudes to our own. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role. We are seeking individuals who can showcase that their personal values align ours here at Making Space.
