We're currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated European Road Freight Forwarder to join a growing logistics business based in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking freight forwarding environment.

Working within a busy operations team, you’ll be responsible for managing European road freight shipments from start to finish, building strong relationships with customers and hauliers, and ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.

The Role

  • Managing full load, part load and groupage European road freight shipments
  • Coordinating collections, deliveries and transport schedules across Europe
  • Liaising with customers, carriers and overseas partners
  • Handling customs documentation and ensuring compliance where required
  • Providing freight quotations and operational updates to clients
  • Monitoring shipments and resolving any transport issues proactively
  • Building strong long-term relationships with customers and suppliers

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within European road freight forwarding
  • Strong operational knowledge of import/export road movements
