Trainee Paint Sprayer

Pro-Found Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Trainee Paint Sprayer on behalf of our well-established manufacturing client based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone hands-on, reliable, and eager to learn a specialist skill within a busy manufacturing environment. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this role ideal for candidates looking to develop a long-term career.

  • Shift: Day shift - Monday to Friday: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pm & Friday 7:30am - 1:30pm
  • Contract: Temporary Ongoing Potential Temp to Perm

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparing timber products ready for the spraying process
  • Sanding, priming, and top coating products to a high standard
  • Using water-based paints and stains
  • Operating air-assisted spray guns
  • Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
  • Working efficiently to production deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Candidate Criteria

  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn a new skill
  • Be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to night shifts
  • Have good attention to detail and take pride in producing quality work
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Be able to follow instructions and health & safety procedures
  • Have previous experience within manufacturing, production, woodworking, spraying, or labouring environments (preferred but not essential)
  • Be physically fit due to the nature of the role
