TSA Surveying are currently working in partnership with a leading building services consultancy, who are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their London building services design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to take the next step in their career, with clear progression towards leadership and management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to design strategy and conceptual electrical design for a wide range of projects
- Undertake detailed electrical design calculations and technical analysis
- Produce electrical design drawings, schematics, specifications, and schedules
- Ensure designs comply with current British Standards, Building Regulations, and sustainability requirements
- Deliver low‑energy, low‑carbon electrical solutions
- Lead and coordinate M&E project teams through all stages of project delivery
- Attend client and design team meetings, managing relationships and interpreting project briefs
- Review and check the work of other engineers and support quality assurance processes
- Mentor and support junior engineers and trainees within the team
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous technical improvement
- Support sustainability initiatives and environmental objectives across the business
Qualifications
- Have experience operating at Senior Electrical Engineer level within building services consultancy
- Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Be Chartered or actively working towards Chartered Engineer status
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of electrical building services systems
- Have excellent communication and leadership skills
- Be able to manage multiple projects and coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
