We are looking for a Certified Senior Bridge Inspector to manage major inspection projects across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Perform General, Principal and Special inspections of bridges and associated structures in accordance with CS 450 and NR/L3/CIV/006.
  • Prepare and review detailed inspection reports.
  • Support inspection planning, coordination and technical proposals.
  • Identify and manage inspection‑related risks.
  • Provide mentorship to less experienced inspectors pursuing BICS qualifications.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • Certified Senior Bridge Inspector (SBI) accreditation through BICS.
  • Proven bridge inspection experience in highways and/or rail infrastructure.
  • Experience producing reports for clients such as National Highways, local authorities or Network Rail.
  • Relevant access qualifications (PTS, National Highways Passport or PASMA).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a wider technical team.
