We are looking for a Certified Senior Bridge Inspector to manage major inspection projects across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Perform General, Principal and Special inspections of bridges and associated structures in accordance with CS 450 and NR/L3/CIV/006.
- Prepare and review detailed inspection reports.
- Support inspection planning, coordination and technical proposals.
- Identify and manage inspection‑related risks.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced inspectors pursuing BICS qualifications.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Certified Senior Bridge Inspector (SBI) accreditation through BICS.
- Proven bridge inspection experience in highways and/or rail infrastructure.
- Experience producing reports for clients such as National Highways, local authorities or Network Rail.
- Relevant access qualifications (PTS, National Highways Passport or PASMA).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a wider technical team.
