Semi-Senior Accountant required for an independent firm based in Rochdale.

Your new company: Our client is an independent firm based in Rochdale that works with international clients. They are looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to support their clients with a variety of accounting services. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practice experience who's looking to grow their skills in a supportive and flexible environment.

Your new role: As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting clients with a variety of accounting services. You will be preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will be involved in completing VAT returns and management accounts and will be assisting with personal and corporate tax computations. You will also be liaising directly with clients and HMRC.

What you'll need to succeed: You will be suitably qualified AAT and studying towards ACCA/ACA and have been working within a practice firm for at least two years. Strong knowledge of accounting software. Excellent communication and organisational skills and a proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
