We are looking for a compassionate, resilient and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated inclusion team. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will support students with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them engage positively with learning and develop the confidence and skills they need to flourish.

This is a role for a Teaching Assistant who believes in the power of relationships, understands the impact of trauma, and is motivated by seeing young people make progress academically, socially and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEMH needs
  • Building strong, trusting relationships that promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • Supporting teachers in delivering personalised learning and targeted interventions
  • Assisting with behaviour support plans and contributing to student reviews
  • Working closely with pastoral, SEND and safeguarding teams
  • Helping create a calm, safe and inclusive environment across the school
