Reporting to the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
- Completing corporation tax returns and computations
- Handling personal tax returns
- Managing bookkeeping and VAT returns as needed
- Liaising directly with clients, answering queries, and providing practical advice
- Assisting with ad hoc assignments and supporting junior team members
What you will need:
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- Previous experience in a similar UK public practice role (such as Accountant, Accounts Senior, Client Manager, or Practice Accountant)
- Strong working knowledge of statutory accounts preparation across multiple entity types
- Confidence in both personal and corporate tax compliance
- Comfortable with bookkeeping and VAT work
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal directly with clients
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage deadlines independently
