A great opportunity to join a team on nights working within multiple sectors as a CNC Milling Programmer. You will play a key role in working on one-off and small batch projects; this is a hands-on position which will involve both Offline and Online work.
CNC Milling Programmer Responsibilities- Set, operate and program 3-axis CNC machines for one-off and batch production projects
- Create and edit programs using Siemens (Online)
- Offline programming using CAM software (Fusion 360, MasterCAM etc.)
- Work from technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations
- Quality measuring devices experience (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Around five years experience machining complex components
- Skilled with Siemens controls
- Offline CAD/CAM programming (Fusion 360 Desirable)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings with excellent attention to detail
