We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting operations, driving financial control, reporting, and compliance for a £200m business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end, year-end, statutory reporting and external audit.
  • Lead monthly reforecasting process and group reporting submissions.
  • Own annual budgeting cycle.
  • Produce management accounts, including income statements and balance sheet reviews.
  • Act as primary contact for auditors, tax advisors and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead the annual stocktake.
  • Deputise for the Head of Finance and help build a high-performance finance culture.

Qualifications

  • ACA-qualified Accountant with strong post-qualification experience (essential).
  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with current standards.
  • Confident leadership skills with ability to influence and guide others.
