As an IBA Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts across multiple brands. You'll oversee the full lifecycle of account handling including debt collection, cash allocation, credit control, claims and return-premium payments, and ensuring client ledgers remain accurate and up to date. You'll produce timely management information, liaise regularly with internal teams, resolve cash queries, monitor payments to brokers, and maintain clear and comprehensive records.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in an IBA or similar accounting role
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
- Websure system experience advantageous
- Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage deadlines, resolve queries and maintain high standards of ledger control
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering results
- Understanding of FCA client money requirements (desirable)
