P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently recruiting a CSCS Cleaner to join their team based in Reading on a full-time, temporary basis. We are on the lookout for CSCS Cleaners who will work on a construction site to help with general cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular cleaning duties across the site, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal.
  • Collect and dispose of construction debris and rubbish in appropriate containers.
  • Maintain cleanliness of site offices, canteens, toilets, and welfare facilities.
  • Clean tools, equipment, and materials storage areas as needed.
  • Monitor and refill cleaning supplies and report low stock to the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
  • Report any hazards or safety issues to site management immediately.
  • Assist with minor manual handling or support tasks as required.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any issues.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs.

Requirements

  • MUST hold a CSCS card.
  • Full PPE is required.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety rules.
