Our client Oldham council is looking for a Qualified social worker to join their Additional & Complex Needs team.

We are a generic team of social workers who manage cases from Short Breaks, Child in Need, Child Protection, PLO, Court, CLA, Transitions and Adoption. You will increase your skill set within this service as an all‑round social worker building specialty knowledge in Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interest Meetings, Court of Protection and Inherent Jurisdiction applications. You will be creative in your communication skills and tools with a range of verbal and non‑verbal children and young people, complete carers assessments and providing packages of respite care. You will also work towards young people transitioning from children to adult services. As a Social Worker within the role it is expected that you will have experience and knowledge within these areas.
