An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a major transport infrastructure project delivering complex station works on one of the UK's most significant construction programmes. We are seeking a well‑rounded main contractor Project Manager with experience in delivering station‑related packages, including external works, fit‑out, and architectural packages, within large‑scale infrastructure or construction environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing specific station work packages, overseeing planning, design validation, procurement, and delivery activities in accordance with the Contractor's Management Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage station delivery packages from pre‑construction through to completion
  • Oversee planning, procurement, design validation, and package delivery
  • Manage subcontractors, programme requirements, and package interfaces
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to required quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with internal delivery teams, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Drive high standards across safety, quality, sustainability, and programme performance
  • Support the successful delivery of complex station infrastructure works

Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment
  • Strong experience delivering station, infrastructure, fit‑out, or complex construction packages
  • Proven background managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience overseeing planning, procurement, and package coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple interfaces within live project environments
  • Rail or major infrastructure experience is advantageous

Please note that candidates must have main contractor experience. Subcontractor‑only backgrounds will not be considered unless combined with significant main contractor project delivery experience.
