Job Type: Temp - ongoing

Pay Rate:

  • Days: £12.71 for first 12 weeks & then increase to £16.17
  • Nights: £13.25 for first 12 weeks & then increase to £18.73

Location: Plymouth, PL6 7BP

Shift Timings:

  • Continuous days: 11:00 - 23:00 (3 On, 3 Off)
  • Continuous nights: 23:00 - 11:00 (3 On, 3 Off)

Workers are given a shift pattern which remains the same until further notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, operate and clean moulding / packaging equipment to meet production targets.
  • Carry out online quality checks to the required standards on finished products and components.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and have knowledge of process control systems.
  • Handle and store products safely and efficiently.
  • Operate to BDPS standards through procedural and documentation compliance and achieve Good Manufacturing Practice and housekeeping through regular cleaning regimes.
  • Understand and follow all Company Policies.
  • Be flexible to work within cross-functional teams on any aspect of the packaging operation subject to production requirements and appropriate training.
  • Actively involved and meeting targets for raised Health and Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Complete process control sheets.
  • Carry out operator routine maintenance with technical aptitude.

  • Computer literate.
  • Eligible to work in the UK and able to provide proof.
  • Over 18 years old.
