We are currently recruiting for a Production Area Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or production supervisory experience to join a stable and growing company that offers long-term development, strong benefits, and a supportive working environment.

The Role

As Production Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and developing a production team to ensure safety, quality, delivery and performance targets are achieved across the department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising day-to-day production activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Leading and motivating production staff to maintain efficiency and performance
  • Ensuring health & safety procedures, PPE and quality standards are adhered to at all times
  • Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities
  • Delivering shift handovers, toolbox talks and daily reporting
  • Monitoring productivity, scrap reduction and operational performance
  • Supporting training, onboarding and development of team members
  • Assisting with problem solving and troubleshooting production issues
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Supervisory, team leader or senior operator experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Positive, hands‑on approach to leadership and problem solving

Working Hours

Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 2:00pm. Overtime is available, although not guaranteed. Overtime Rates: 1.5x during the week, Weekend overtime paid at 1.75x for the first 5 hours, 2x thereafter.
