Key Responsibilities

  • Leading civil design on water projects from inception to completion
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions
  • Mentoring and supporting graduates and junior engineers
  • Ensuring design deliverables are completed within required timescales and budgets
  • Engaging with key water clients to help improve water systems across local communities
  • Participating in the feasibility, outline and detailed design stages of projects
  • Supporting ongoing professional development and striving towards chartership if not already chartered
  • Maintaining excellent communication and collaboration across various team locations

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience within the water industry, including significant civil engineering experience
  • Membership in a relevant engineering institution, actively working towards or already achieving chartership
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Strong team collaboration and leadership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members
  • Ability to mentor and support the development of junior staff
