The predicted salary is between 62000 - 62000 £ per year.

Salary: OTE up to £62,000 plus Veolia benefits. Daily meal allowance £5.00 per day worked. Single person daily allowance paid dependant on the Route £39.96.

Hours: Up to 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday 14:00‑00:30 and one Saturday every four weeks.

Location: Dundas Spur, Portsmouth, PO3 5NY.

What you'll be doing:

  • Driving to planned collection locations and moving and emptying multiple waste containers.
  • Lifting bins of all weights and sizes.
  • Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
  • Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily.
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
  • Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.

Essential:

  • Class 2 (Cat C) licence
  • Up‑to‑date CPC / Digi card

Desirable:

  • Previous waste management experience
