The Role: The role will operate on an eight-hour x three shift basis (24hr/5 days) with an element of holiday cover and overtime availability. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and a right first-time approach to maintenance tasks, including using DMAIC problem-solving techniques to identify the root cause of an issue. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of AC / DC motors and drives, read electrical / pneumatic schematic drawings, and have a mechanical understanding of core qualifications.
Skills and Experience:
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification gained through an apprenticeship / practical learning course
- Relevant experience ideally in a production manufacturing environment including fault finding and electrical repairs for industrial equipment.
