Role - Payroll Administrator
Location - Edinburgh City Centre (hybrid working - office days are Tuesday and Wednesday)
Hours of Work - Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week
Rate of Pay - £16.07
Duration - 6 months with possible extension

Pertemps are recruiting for our public sector client for Payroll Administrators to support their established team.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Processing payroll on a monthly basis
- Liaising with colleagues in HR regarding starters and leavers
- Handling deductions (including tax, NI and salary sacrifice)
- Carrying out pension calculations and ensuring these are administered correctly
- Processing statutory payments
- Maintaining payroll records and updating as required
- Preparing reports
- Investigating and responding to queries raised
- Carrying out reconciliations
- Any other tasks as required
You should have a proven track record in a payroll, finance or pensions role. You must have strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
The payroll system used is Oracle Fusion. Experience of this would be advantageous but is not necessary. Full system training will be provided.
