Tradewind Recruitment are collaborating with schools located in Grimsby that are seeking a flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor that can support with general cover. The opportunity will be part-time and up to 1 - 5 days a week Monday to Friday. The role of a cover supervisor is ideal for a candidate seeking experience in a mainstream secondary school or an individual considering a teaching career.

The position involves the following:

  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons and ensure students are focused.
  • Be adaptable in the classroom and overcome challenges following behavioural policies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Demonstrate professional and positive attitudes in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with members of staff on site and encourage good behaviour from students.

To apply for this role, you must have the following:

  • Experience working within an educational role.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to undergo one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Satisfactory References.
