TEC Partners are supporting a leading medical device manufacturing organisation in the search for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join the business on an initial contract basis. This is a national role requiring regular travel across sites in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Ireland. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the Health & Safety function and will act as the sole H&S lead within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company's Health & Safety function across multiple manufacturing sites
- Develop, review, and implement H&S policies and procedures
- Conduct and review risk assessments and ensure compliance across all locations
- Deliver, coordinate, and review Health & Safety training programmes
- Support audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure the business remains compliant with all relevant legislation and best practice standards
- Work closely with operational teams to drive a strong H&S culture throughout the organisation
Requirements
- Proven background within medical device manufacturing is essential
- Previous experience operating as a standalone or lead Health & Safety professional
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple sites
