Aspire People are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to work in welcoming primary schools across Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development within a classroom setting.
The Role:
- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
- Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Supporting pupils with varying learning needs, including SEN where required
- Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has previous experience working with primary-aged children (school-based experience preferred)
- Is patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about education
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
