As a Procurement Officer, you will play a key role in supporting category teams with sourcing events, supplier vetting, contract management administration, and ongoing supplier performance activities. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, acting as a subject matter expert for procurement processes and helping to ensure policy compliance across the business. This is a varied and fast-paced position where you'll be involved in everything from online tender creation to data analysis, supplier audits, and maintenance of procurement catalogues and vendor lists.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support supplier vetting, audits, and maintenance of supplier records
- Maintain and update the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and procurement catalogues
- Assist with sourcing activities, including spend analysis and setting up e-sourcing events
- Contribute to contract management tasks such as extensions, price reviews, and documentation maintenance
- Act as a first point of contact for supplier and stakeholder queries, ensuring compliance with procurement policy
- Provide administrative and cross-category support to the wider procurement team
