We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet safety and aesthetic standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction and maintenance sectors, contributing to the visual appeal and protection of buildings and structures. Must have own tools and transport.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
  • Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Follow technical specifications and safety guidelines during all painting activities.
  • Mix paints and colours to achieve desired shades and consistency.
  • Inspect completed work for quality assurance and touch up as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of waste materials responsibly.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks efficiently.
  • Assist with surface preparation or minor repairs as required on-site.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction painting or related trades is desirable.
