PK Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated DT Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Leeds area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting ASAP and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year, or until the postholder returns. The school is seeking a confident and engaging teacher who can inspire students and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role:
- Delivering engaging and effective DT lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Supporting student progress and maintaining high expectations in the classroom
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with staff and contributing to the wider school community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Design & Technology within secondary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passionate about delivering creative and engaging lessons
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as travel and occasional school-related visits may be required.
Pay: £180 - £230 per day
