We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Bath. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting goods in, stores, and despatch, ensuring materials and finished products are handled accurately and efficiently.

The Role

  • You'll be responsible for managing stock, supporting production, and ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving, checking, and booking in goods from suppliers
  • Issuing materials and components to production
  • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Ensuring all stock is clearly labelled and organised
  • Booking deliveries and liaising with couriers
  • Completing stock checks and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting smooth flow between stores, production, and office teams
  • Maintaining a clean, organised working environment

About You

  • Previous stores, warehouse, or manufacturing experience desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Proactive and able to work independently
