We are working with a reputable client based in Leeds (LS9) who require a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The position is a permanent role paying £34,000 - 36,500 per annum (DOE).

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Day Shift)

Holiday: 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing products and processes from concept to production
  • Using SolidWorks to create production-ready designs and drawings
  • Creating CNC Programs using AlphaCam
  • Designing jigs, fixtures, and assembly solutions
  • Supporting CNC routing, machining, welding and fabrication processes
  • Creating BOMs and SOPs for manufacturing
  • Driving Lean / 6S improvements and reducing waste
  • Supporting prototypes, problem-solving and process optimisation

Key Requirements:

  • ONC / HNC (or equivalent experience in engineering/manufacturing)
  • Strong experience in a production or engineering environment
  • Ability to read technical drawings and create clear manufacturing instructions
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
  • Strong AlphaCam experience
  • A background in fabrication, machining, or CNC processes (preferred)
  • Any electrical engineering knowledge (desirable but not essential)
