We are working with a reputable client based in Leeds (LS9) who require a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The position is a permanent role paying £34,000 - 36,500 per annum (DOE).
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Day Shift)
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing products and processes from concept to production
- Using SolidWorks to create production-ready designs and drawings
- Creating CNC Programs using AlphaCam
- Designing jigs, fixtures, and assembly solutions
- Supporting CNC routing, machining, welding and fabrication processes
- Creating BOMs and SOPs for manufacturing
- Driving Lean / 6S improvements and reducing waste
- Supporting prototypes, problem-solving and process optimisation
Key Requirements:
- ONC / HNC (or equivalent experience in engineering/manufacturing)
- Strong experience in a production or engineering environment
- Ability to read technical drawings and create clear manufacturing instructions
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
- Strong AlphaCam experience
- A background in fabrication, machining, or CNC processes (preferred)
- Any electrical engineering knowledge (desirable but not essential)
