They support clients in understanding their legal responsibilities, carrying out accurate system assessments, and maintaining full compliance. Rather than offering a wide range of services, my client focuses solely on water system safety, delivering high standards and reliable solutions across the UK.
Role Overview: This is an excellent opportunity for a Water Hygiene Plumber to join a trusted and growing team. The successful Water Hygiene Engineer will play a key role in maintaining and improving water systems across a range of commercial sites throughout the North West.
Salary & Benefits:
- 30,000 - 35,000 (depending on experience)
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Company vehicle and fuel card provided
- Ongoing training and clear progression opportunities
- Pension
- 22 days annual leave + BH + Christmas leave
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out temperature monitoring and water sampling
- Perform tank cleans, disinfections, and TMV servicing
- Complete mains chlorination and showerhead descaling
- Assist with closed system flushing and testing
- Undertake plumbing remedials, pipework modifications, and tank replacements
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer or in a plumbing role
- Knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274
- NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (minimum)
- G3 Unvented
