Full-Time KS2 Class Teacher (ECT) position at a primary school in Uxbridge starting in September. The Role
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development, helping them build confidence and independence as they progress through Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum.
- Support learning and progression in core subjects (reading, writing, and maths).
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, using feedback to inform future teaching.
- Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEN.
- Encourage resilience, independence, and a love of learning.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team.
Requirements
- Currently completing or recently completed teacher training (working towards or achieved QTS).
- A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum developed through placements.
- A positive, reflective, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Good classroom management skills appropriate for an ECT level.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to commit to a full-time role in Uxbridge from September.
Desirable
- KS2 placement experience (Upper or Lower KS2).
- Awareness of assessment and pupil progress tracking.
- Understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs (SEN).
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
