Our client, a financial services business based in the heart of Bromley is seeking to increase its Customer Service Team due to growth. You will be working for a progressive company that helps families and individuals reach their financial goals and improves communities. This role would suit someone who has worked in retail and dealt with customer enquiries over the phone or someone who is looking to return to the workplace. You will be joining an established and supportive team who will help you succeed in your role. You will receive support throughout your onboarding as well as regular training and development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support services for customers and field force from initial contract through to the end of the contract terms and to provide excellent customer services at all times
  • First point of contact for customers calling with enquiries relating to policy maturities
  • Liaising with financial advisers and third parties
  • Dealing with a variety of calls, assessing and answering customer enquiries
  • Responding to requests for information in a professional manner via letter and email
  • Liaising with customers, financial advisers and third parties to process and administer instructions and enquiries
  • Working as a team to ensure that service standards are met

Skills and experiences required:

  • Previous experience within a customer service, call centre, financial or contact centre role
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
