Responsibilities

  • Prepare corporation tax computations and support the end-to-end compliance cycle
  • Deliver IFRS tax reporting, including statutory accounts, interim reporting, and tax notes
  • Support audit processes and provide analysis to internal and external auditors
  • Produce cash tax and forecasting models
  • Assist with tax advice on commercial transactions and restructuring activities
  • Promote tax policy adherence and respond to ad hoc queries
  • Collaborate with group tax teams, UK finance functions, and external advisors to ensure accurate and consistent tax outcomes

Qualifications

  • ACA / CTA with a minimum of 5 years' experience in-house tax or large corporate tax
  • Experience with Alpha tax preferred
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
  • Ability to manage tax projects autonomously with stress reliance and accuracy
  • Help to build or enhance tax and business networks to make work more effective
  • Proactive approach to acquire knowledge and awareness of the business to provide commercially focused tax support
