Responsibilities:
- The Contract Officer is responsible for ensuring the annual compliance and safety of assets across our portfolio.
- Confirming annual compliance visits, assisting contractors with installation appointments, managing no‑access situations, and coordinating closely with contractors and housing officers.
- Maintaining clear communication with residents, addressing concerns, and ensuring accurate record‑keeping and reporting to support compliance objectives.
- Confirm appointments with residents, ensuring all necessary details are communicated effectively.
- Reschedule appointments as needed, particularly in cases of no‑access situations.
- Work closely with housing officers/teams and partner agencies to ensure compliance and repairs are completed; collaborate and contract manage with contractors to ensure compliance, repairs, maintenance and installation processes meet organisational objectives and standards.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with residents, addressing any concerns or queries.
- Keep accurate records of appointments and any issues encountered.
- Ensure all data is up‑to‑date and accessible for reporting and analysis.
- Provide regular updates to management on progress.
- Highlight challenges encountered and propose solutions to improve the process.
- Work proactively in a high‑paced role to ensure successful compliance standards and minimise disruptions.
