Pertemps are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based out of East Midlands Gateway. As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will undertake trunking work to other company sites, NDC's and RDC's. This is clean work with no handball and presents long term work for Class 1 HGV Drivers. There will be opportunities to be taken on permanent as well should that be a pathway you'd like to explore.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available:
- 4 on 4 off
- Weekdays
- Weeknights
Guaranteed 9.6 hours per shift minimum pay with OT paid out after 9.6 hours each day.
The successful Class 1 Driver will:
- Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
- Have a valid tacho and DQC card
- Have a positive can do attitude
Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:
- Trunking goods around the UK - No handball
- Trailer swaps and backloads
You will receive:
- Nights - £18.75 per hour
- Nights OT after 9.6 hours daily - £28.12 per hour
- Days - £16.38 per hour
- Days OT after 9.6 hours daily - £24.57 per hour
