Overview

Management Accountant 10‑12 month contract in Lincolnshire. Hays Senior Finance is working with a growing organisation to recruit a Management Accountant for a 10‑12 month fixed‑term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS and provide insightful analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage month‑end processes, including accruals, prepayments, balance‑sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and group reporting.
  • Handle VAT and treasury activities and audit/compliance.
  • Oversee purchase ledger; ensure accurate invoice processing, maintain supplier relationships and manage payments.

Qualifications

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Strong management accounting experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of accounting systems.
  • Available at short notice to start and live within commuting distance of Lincolnshire; own transport required due to rural location.
