An established and highly regarded legal practice in the heart of Canterbury is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Legal Secretary to support a busy and growing commercial property team. This is a key role within a close-knit office environment, offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced fee earners on a wide range of commercial property transactions.

Day to day, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial support, ensuring matters progress efficiently and to a high professional standard. This will include preparing and amending legal documents, managing files, liaising with clients and third parties, and supporting transactional work relating to the sale and purchase of commercial properties.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary within Commercial Property
  • A sound, up-to-date understanding of the commercial property conveyancing process
  • Experience supporting lawyers with transactional matters, including sales and purchases
  • Strong organisational and document management skills
  • Confidence handling correspondence, file management and client communication
  • A proactive, reliable approach with the ability to work well as part of a small, busy team

Experience in commercial property is essential for this position.
