Lancaster & Morecambe College are seeking a Lecturer in Health and Social Care and T Level Health who can deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment, and who will provide an excellent learning experience, which ensures high achievement for all students.

The main focus of this role will be to teach and assess in healthcare related subject areas such as:

  • Person-centred care
  • Reflection
  • Clinical practice
  • Assisting with overall care needs
  • Assisting with clinical and therapeutic tasks
  • Activities to support daily living
  • Topics on physiological illness
  • Meeting individual needs

You will also need to support the development of practical skills in the health training ward including manual handling, providing nutrition and risk assessment screening tools. You will deliver courses from Level 2 to Level 3 in the Health and Social Care and T Level Health, and act as a course manager to specific groups.

You will have relevant recent vocational experience in the health & social care sector and will be teacher qualified or willing to undertake this training. Support and mentoring are provided for those new to teaching.
