Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all reporting areas.
- Prepare accounts ready for review.
- Prepare trial balance and income statements with full supporting analysis.
- Manage fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, revenue, and expense postings.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Liaise with stakeholders to obtain key financial information.
- Escalate issues proactively to ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in management accounts preparation end-to-end.
- Strong understanding of month-end processes and balance sheet control.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Proactive mindset with good judgement on when to escalate issues.
