Expleo is currently recruiting for an Infotainment System Engineer to support a leading automotive customer based in Warwickshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment within the infotainment domain.
Location: Warwickshire (Hybrid/Onsite)
Rate: 27.20 per hour (Inside IR35)
The Role
As an Infotainment System Engineer, you will play a key role in problem solving, requirements validation, and data analysis within complex infotainment systems. You will collaborate across teams and suppliers to identify, diagnose, and resolve critical system issues while ensuring delivery against programme timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review system requirements to ensure intended functionality is achieved and flag any deviations
- Capture and analyse critical diagnostic data for issue triage, including:
- DLT logs
- Wireshark traces
- VLAN, CAN, and SOME/IP data
- Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities across infotainment systems
- Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely issue resolution
- Investigate and support resolution of critical / showstopper issues
- Collaborate with triage teams across multiple system layers
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies and industry best practice
- Engage with Product Owners to deliver effective solutions and act as a facilitator between teams
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and ad-hoc requests
Skills & Experience Required
- Capture & understand Wireshark/VLAN/DLT/CAN/SOMEIP logs
- Six Sigma Problem Solving Techniques - 5-whys, Fishbone Analysis, IS IS NOT
- Familiarity of Snapshot / Corvus Tools
- Microsoft Office Suite including Excel / PPT / Word
