Salary: Competitive, DOE + Excellent Benefits!
Contract & Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (with flexibility on staggered hours)

We are now expanding our Projects team and we are looking for a motivated Construction Project Coordinator who can combine technical know-how, empathy and professionalism to deliver outstanding results!
As our Construction Project Coordinator you will be the main point of contact for clients and their contractors – guiding them through the build process, managing contracts, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and on budget. You will play a crucial part in realising our clients’ dream homes while projecting Oakwrights’ commercial and quality standards.
As our Construction Project Coordinator you will be specifically responsible for:
- Overseeing the delivery and erection of structural oak frames and encapsulation systems on site.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and stage payments with confidence and professionalism.
- Communicating clearly and constructively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Surveying and inspecting sites to ensure quality, safety, and compliance at every stage.
- Recording and reporting on progress through defined Gateways.
- Thinking both logically and creatively to find solutions and maintain momentum on site.
About You
You’ll be someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a changing environment, and can build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. You’ll have:
- Experience in construction management (or as an experienced tradesperson ready to move into project management).
- The ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- A solid understanding of general building and health & safety practices.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A positive, proactive, and empathetic approach – balancing client care with commercial awareness.
It would be great if you had:
- HNC in Construction (or willingness to work towards it – fully supported by Oakwrights)
- SMSTS or equivalent evidence of managing health & safety
- Interest in green oak framing and modern construction methods
