At term time teachers we have had an exciting opportunity come through for an enthusiastic and effective Teacher of English to join a dedicated and forward-thinking team within a well-established special needs school in East Sussex. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) and who are familiar with EHCP's. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to improve outcomes and raise standards for learners who may face significant barriers to education.
Requirements:
- Holds QTS and has a passion for English.
- Has experience or a strong interest in working with pupils with complex needs.
- Is highly organised and able to adapt teaching to meet diverse needs.
- Can contribute positively to a supportive school environment.
- Hold a DBS (or be willing to apply for one).
