The Role: As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production running smoothly by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance. Your duties will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults on a range of production machinery
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Maintaining equipment such as mills, lathes, drills, and fabrication machinery
- Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Completing basic electrical maintenance where required
- Assisting with general site maintenance, including plumbing
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
You will work closely with production teams and occasionally support work on external client sites.
About You: We are looking for someone who is:
- Mechanically biased with multi‑skilled capability
- Experienced in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Confident with fault‑finding and breakdown response
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Health & safety conscious with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and committed
Basic electrical knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
Working Hours:
- Monday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Tuesday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 12:00pm
Includes a morning break and lunch break. Regular overtime is available and paid at 1.5x hourly rate, including weekday evenings and Saturday mornings.
