Matchtech has partnered with BAE Systems to recruit a skilled Electrician to support the build of the cutting‑edge Type 26 Frigates for the Royal Navy. This 12‑month contract offers attractive rates for both local candidates and those willing to commute to Glasgow. Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Cable pulling, terminations, and general marine electrical tasks
- Ensuring work meets MOD standards with strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations
Qualifications
- A recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
- Previous experience in marine, industrial, or shipbuilding environments (preferred)

Pay Rates

- Standard Shift - 23.02 per hour (including the holiday pay)

- Sunday OT - 43.54 per hour
For PAYE (Inside IR35) contractors living more than 39 miles from the Glasgow base:
