E3 Recruitment is looking to recruit a FLT Driver for an immediate start to join a well-established leading manufacturing business at its facility in the Birtley area of Chester-le-Street. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience of operating a Fork Lift Truck with B1 Licence, working in a fast-paced, heavy industry manufacturing environment.

What's in it for you as an FLT Driver:

  • Hours of work: Monday - Friday DAYS ONLY 8AM - 4PM (early finish Friday at 3PM)
  • 39 hours a week
  • £12.71 per hour
  • Overtime paid at a premium of 1.5x and 2x
  • Location: Birtley
  • Full training given
  • On-going temp opportunity for 2-4 weeks which could become longer, with a well-established PLC manufacturer

FLT responsibilities:

  • Operation of FLT
  • Support with the running of a production facility
  • General maintenance and housekeeping tasks around the site
  • Complying with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental systems, and reporting procedures

Essential Qualifications and Experience for FLT Driver:

  • Experience of operating a Fork Lift Truck with B1 Licence
  • A good understanding of industry Health, Safety and Environmental standards
  • Ability to work within a busy team environment
