Great opportunity for FLT Drivers to work for our client's company, which produces Yorkshire Puddings for its customer portfolio in food retail. Staffline is recruiting FLT Drivers in Thorne, DN8 5JS. Temp to perm opportunity!

Pay:

  • Mornings: £14.37 per hour
  • Afternoons: £14.58 per hour

Hours of Work:

  • Role 1, Afternoons: Monday‑Tuesday 13:45‑21:45 and Saturday‑Sunday 8:00‑20:00
  • Role 2, Mornings: Monday‑Friday 05:45‑13:45

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the boxing area has all the packaging requirements for the next production run and throughout shift
  • Take all finished goods out of the boxing area and put them into the chilled or frozen storage area
  • Load and unload vehicles as required, and check all raw material deliveries and put them in the appropriate place for storage before use, and enter onto stock control system
  • Stock rotation
  • Complete daily stock count and pick orders for dispatch
  • Communicate with office and staff regarding daily orders
  • GMP's should be practised throughout the working – clean as you go
  • Completion of all paperwork as required
  • Carry out cleaning tasks involving the use of chemicals
  • Carry out FLT safety checks
  • With finished product, checks should be made that no damaged boxes of puddings go out to the customers
  • Follow site safety procedures at all times (HACCP, COSHH, PPE etc.)
  • Work as part of a team ensuring production flows as smoothly as possible
  • Lifting involved, manual duties, working in hot and cold areas

Qualifications:

  • Valid FLT Licence
  • Previous warehouse environment experience
  • Adaptable to both hot and cold working environments, punctual, reliable, enthusiastic and flexible
