You'll be joining one of the UK's leading housing associations (in their London offices) committed to ensuring residents are safe in their homes. As part of the Building Safety team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable residents living in higher and medium-risk buildings. This is a 3 to 6 month rolling contract, which may lead to a permanent contract with hybrid flexible working.

As Resident Fire Safety Support Manager, you will lead the delivery of Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) for residents with service adjustments (vulnerabilities). You'll work directly with customers to understand their needs during emergencies and create tailored evacuation plans that help keep them safe.

  • Conducting and auditing Person Centred Fire Risk Assessments (PCFRAs) for residents in high-rise buildings and supporting the team with medium-rise cases.
  • Ensuring all residents in scope of PEEPs regulations are assessed, with annual reviews completed and recorded.
  • Maintaining accurate data on buildings and residents through quality tools.
  • Managing a team's caseload, communication, and performance, including home visits and digital case management.
  • Preparing evacuation documentation such as Emergency Evacuation Statements and Building Evacuation Plans.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Strong experience engaging with residents with diverse needs.
  • Experience conducting PCFRAs and auditing related documentation.
  • Fire safety risk knowledge in high/medium-rise residential buildings.
  • Minimum ABBE Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment (or equivalent).
  • Membership of IFSM or another recognised fire safety body.
