We are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their team, covering the Aberdeen area, with occasional travel as required. This Field Service Engineer role offers a salary of 45,000, along with a company vehicle and fuel card plus door to door travel is included within your working day. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Visual inspection activities, cleaning and report to management team.
- Routine maintenance activities on modules, inverters, cables and connectors, DC and AC distribution boxes.
- Routine maintenance activities on module mounting systems, fence and gates, inverter and transformer stations.
- Routine maintenance activities on monitoring and communication equipment.
- Routine maintenance activities on security system devices.
- Fault finding on electrical components by means of visual inspections or professional site measurement activities.
Professional qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Certification or equivalent.
- At least five years' experience in industrial electrical installation and maintenance.
- Previous Solar PV maintenance experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DC electrical systems, high-voltage equipment, and occupational health & safety regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
Personal skills:
- Willing and flexible to travel to sites as and when required.
- Strong in problem-solving and able to work under pressure.
- Passionate about renewable energy and high-quality service delivery.
