Are you an experienced Applications & Test Engineer with strong hands-on skills in electronics and firmware, looking to work with innovative touch technologies? They are seeking a talented Applications & Test Engineer to join their engineering team in Fareham, UK, to contribute to the development and validation of their next-generation technology.
Responsibilities
- Internal prototyping, tuning, testing, and gaining a deep understanding of complete system-level solutions
- Hands-on building and testing of equipment
- Testing of firmware and validation of software
- Troubleshooting and identifying solutions for products already deployed in the field
- Developing proof of concepts based on customer requirements
- Interfacing with customers to understand product needs
Qualifications
- Experience in a commercial facing post sales application engineer role
- Hands-on experience with electronic and firmware testing and fault finding
- Experience within touch technology would be advantageous; candidates from HMI, semiconductor, or wider electronics industries will also be considered
- A degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline (other qualifications considered with relevant skills)
- Strong understanding of electronic circuit analysis and testing
